Putting the unity back in ‘community’ through innovative design.
What I set out to do with my graduate thesis was provide a space within the larger community specifically for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This would offer them a place to live, work, relax, and interact with others outside their immediate circle. This would also give the rest of the community a place to come together.
